About Us

History of First Crayons Learning center

         To give glory to God and the desire to have a distinctive sense of accomplishment is what generally prompted Mrs. Avegail Legaspi-Chua, a successful entrepreneur, and Mrs. Teresa Legaspi-Exmundo, a banker for 18 years in California, USA, to consider the idea of setting up a school. In particular, they also hoped to attain the following objectives: 1. Provide quality educational services to the children of their community; 2. Assist the parents in the academic, social and psychological development of their children; 3. Contribute to the upgrading of educational standards in their community and surrounding communities. 4. To praise and thank God for all the blessings by giving services to the children through quality education. With these objectives, the two prospective partners have consult Mr. Edilberto Cruz and Mrs. Glofeli Cruz a husband and wife team, both experienced educators who founded First Crayons Learning Center of Plaridel, Bulacan. Through their assistance, First Crayons Learning Center of Antipolo was opened in 1998 with 27 pre-school children. The following year, the student population tripled and over the years, the center crew and prospered into a high quality standard school, offering quality services for the children's education welfare.

             The School Seal The seal speaks for itself of what the school desires for the students. the silhouette of the child at the center represents the school's student-centered approach to instruction. Then three crayons represents the values, knowledge and skills which the school seeks to develop in each child. They also represent self-discovery, exploration and creativity which the school hopes to instill in each child. Its increasing height represents the school's drive towards greater realization of its academic goals and its openness to new ideas and innovations in education.
